Some of the places to visit in Bali are Uluwatu - a town in the south-western tip of the Bukit Peninsula of Bali, home to Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple. Ubud, a centre for traditional crats and dance, is surrounded by rainforest and terraced rice fields and Hindu temples. Sanur is a seaside town with long beaches and shallow waters. It showcases colourful fishing boats, paved cycling path and temple built from coral inscriptions thousands of years ago. Simayak is a beach resort area with many luxury hotels, villas and spas. It also houses high-end shopping centers and restaurants. Tanah Lot is formed by rock off the coast which is also home to the ancient Hindu temple Pura Tanah Lot.

Canggu is a resort village in the southern coastel area surrounded by terraced paddy fields. It hosts surfing beaches like Canggu and Echo
