It also allows you to witness Fijian jungle and lush tropical plants native to Fiji. How about swimming at the base of a waterfall, surrounded by forest. Next, you can cover yourself with mud and relax at the natural hot spring. This is the coolest thing you want to do in summer in Fiji. You can also visit a Fijian village and drink Kava with the locals. It is a traditional drink made from powdered root of the pepper plant mixed with water.

Nadi is a city on the main island and also the main trasportation hub of the country. It is home to the famous Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami temple. This city has gardens and hiking trails and an upscale resort area with golf course. Viti Levu - is the largest island in Fiji and also has its primary airport. The enteriors of Viti Levu is fascinating to see as it is adorned by mountains, extinct vocanos, national parks and sand dunes. Suva - Suva is the capital city of Fiji, a city with broad avenues, lush green parks and British colonial buildings. It has a colourful and lively fruits and vegetable markets. It also has museums that glorify victorian era traditional canoes, war clubs and tattooing tools. Mamanuca Island - This consists of 20 islands. It has cystal-clear waters, sandy beaches and live coral reefs. Snorkeling and swimming are popular with the tourists here.

Best time to visit Fiji

From late October to early November, it's the idea time to be in Fiji as at this time the weather is dry and warm. It also depends on what kind of holiday you are looking for but it is pleasant to visit the Island through the year. For Austrilians and New Zealanders the best time to visit is during July to August. February, March, June, Cotober and November are best if you are looking for quiter time in the island, especially for couples.
