Visit Queenstown for a laidback vacation. It is known for adventure sports, historic mining towns and vineyards. The bungee jumping at Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge and jet-bloating on the shotover and Dart rivers are two things you don't want to miss while in Queenstown. It is also a base for exploring the region’s vineyards and historic mining towns.   

Queesntown Skyline Gondola and Luge Rides, Milford Sound 2-hour cruise tour, Shotover river and Kawarau river boat ride, Tandem paragliding, Otago Winery tour, underwater observatory: there's so much to do in Queestown that one time visit won't be enough.

December to February is an ideal time to visit Queenstown. But if you are looking for cheap holidays, then winter is best suited. It’s warmer, the crowd is less and you can soak up the sun. If you want to catch some snow, then August would be the best bet.
